MSB-Shakopee Grows its Campus with Two New Business Alliance Partnerships

This past week was an exciting week for the Minnesota School of Business-Shakopee campus. Gretchen Seifert, Director of Admissions, met with the manager for Cub Foods in Shakopee to talk about partnership opportunities.  Thanks to Seifert’s efforts, the MSB-Shakopee campus now has a Business Alliance Partnership with Cub Foods in Shakopee and Fresh Market Grocery in Jordan, Le Sueur and Le Center.  All stores are all owned by the Radermacher family.  “We are excited about this opportunity to work together to grow our MSB-Shakopee location and provide education for Cub Foods employees,” Seifert said

Dawn Connor, a veterinary technology student at Globe University-Eau Claire, recently was elected by her career college peers around the country to serve as the President of the newly formed organization, Students for Academic Choice. One of the organization’s main goals is to preserve academic choice for students in their pursuit of higher education. Connor’s involvement with advocating for academic choice began in March, when she was selected from among 300 Globe University/Minnesota School of Business applicants to attend the Career College Association (CCA) Hill Day in Washington, D.C

We have consistently believed that the most effective signal to Iran of the need to change course on its nuclear program is for the international community – through the United Nations Security Council – to approve and enforce tougher multilateral sanctions against Iran, combined with a willingness to engage in meaningful diplomacy. J Street Welcomes Obama’s Iron Dome Funding Request, Urges Quick Congressional Approval

J Street Executive Director Jeremy Ben-Ami released the following statement today upon news that President Obama has asked Congress to approve $205 million in funds for Israel’s short-range rocket defense “Iron Dome” system: J Street welcomes the Obama Administration’s recent Congressional request for additional funding for Israel’s “Iron Dome” to protect Israeli civilians from rocket attacks from Hamas, Hezbollah, and other militant groups. The project will help save lives and improve the quality of life of civilians, particularly in the South of Israel, who have lived under a cloud of fear of rocket attacks for too long. We urge Congress to quickly approve the funding.
